Motorola announces Moto G Play (2023) in the US

It may be December 2022 but Motorola already has its sights set on 2023 and it just announced its Moto G Play (2023) for the US market. The phone is a successor to the first gen Moto G Play from 2021. The second-gen Moto G Play brings a 6.5-inch IPS TFT LCD with HD+ (720 x 1600px) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The back houses a 16MP main camera. Motorola’s official spec sheet mentions an f/1.22 aperture for the main sensor though that would be a remarkable move for a midranger and we’re more inclined to believe the actual value is f/2.2 instead.
